Key features:
€ 195 / day
Whether it's fast or slow, on smooth asphalt or in the mud, at 125 or a fat 1000, as long as we're driving, we're happy!
The idea was born in 2020 and, after much thinking and preparation, was finally realized in 2024.
We strive to make your motorcycle holiday here on Tenerife unforgettable!
Our home base is, deliberately chosen, not in the busy South, but locally, the real Tenerife,
literally in one of the thousands of bends that our island has.
Whether you start left or right, you will take bends!
Hello, I am Nicolaas, "The Big Boss".
After living in Belgium for years, I was tired of moving the trickle charger from bike to bike.
I wanted to be able to ride every day, not because I have to, but because I can!
Here I can do it every day, I enjoy every bend, the sun, the wearing out of the tires and even more the mounting of new ones!
Hi, I'm Tine, the owner of "The Big Boss..." ;-). Just like my husband I was fed up with the Belgian weather. Here we are surprised, even happy that it rains for once! I am a physiotherapist and Pilates trainer, but above all "the shoulder to cry on" when a motorbike goes flat...
Hellow! I'm Leon, (Leoncito for the girls) since January 2024 the youngest noisemaker of the family. My favorite playroom is daddy's garage, where daddy is restoring my PW80! And that I'm 7 years old soon, because then I can join daddy on the motorcycle (but secretly we already do this, but sssst é ;-)) !
Woof, I'm Flo. I became Bougie's sister when my previous owner got tired of my antics...
You'll always find me near Bougie, together out, together home!
I'm the "friendly bouncer" type, I'm your buddy when the owner says it's okay, if you come with bad thoughts, I'll quickly put you out!
Woof, I'm Bougie. They almost called me "Piston" or "Supappe", but I'm glad it was Bougie.
You can usually find me somewhere between the bikes or in the driveway, taking a nap, tranquilo huh!
I'm always up for a nice game of kibble, a good walk and playing with my sister, Flo.
I'm crazy about 2-strokes!!!
What does the motorcycle rental contract include?
What do I need to bring with me when starting the rental period?
Your passport and driver's license will be checked for validity.
Make sure you have already paid the remaining amount and/or deposit, or can pay when handing over the motorcycle.
Is anything expected of me at the end of the rental period, when I return the motorcycle?
Make sure the fuel tank is filled up again. If not, this will cost you 50 euros of the deposit.
If you have any damage during the rental period, please report this to us.
If the motorcycle showed defects, please report this to us.
Be on time.
Can you ride the motorcycle in shorts?
Yes, of course!
A Speedo, sturdy footwear, gloves and of course a helmet is sufficient (according to the law...)!
Can you bring the motorcycle to me?
Delivery and collection to your hotel, apartment or at the airport if it is really urgent that you ride your motorcycle, is all possible!
This service is free!
And what if it rains?
"Good weather guarantee"
If you get up in the morning and it's raining, and you decide not to ride for a day, you don't have to pay for that day.
Let me know in the morning and I will deduct this!
Be careful in case of rainfall after a long drought, the roads can be very slippery.
Can I ride an unlimited number of kilometers per day?
Yes, of course! But the petrol is your bill, right?
Am I being followed?
All motorcycles are equipped with "Track and Trace". This is not to check you.
This is an extra security in case of accidents and against theft.
Do you have motorcycle clothing available?
As far as motorcycle clothing is concerned, we prefer your own equipment. This fits you perfectly and is therefore the safest.
Still need a helmet, jacket or gloves, ask for them. We always have some here.
Getting on the plane with motorcycle clothing?
Everything you wear is not luggage. We have customers who drive to the airport with their motorcycle, leave their motorcycle there in a closed parking lot (often free for motorcycles) and board the plane with their helmet in hand and a backpack (hand luggage). Here they get off the plane and straight onto the rental motorcycle. Maximum enjoyment! Of course, you can also store everything in your luggage. Taking your helmet on the plane as hand luggage is generally not a problem. However, I have heard strange stories that this is not accepted and the helmet can be seen as a weapon... To be on the safe side, you can of course contact your airline for the conditions.
I'll be back in a few weeks or months, can I leave my clothes with you?
"We store your equipment"
Do you come regularly? Then you can leave your equipment with us, we will take care of it until you come back to take turns!
Can I mount my smartphone or GPS on the handlebars?
All our motorcycles are equipped with the well-known "1 inch ball" on the handlebars.
From there we work with the well-known Quad Lock and Quiklox system. We also have a universal mobile phone holder on offer.
USB power is also always available.
When booking, please indicate which mounting system you want on your handlebars.
Am I responsible for the motorcycle during the rental period?
Yes, you are.
Both for damage, caused by yourself or others, as well as for any theft of the motorcycle, mounted accessories or clothing obtained. See it as if this is your own motorcycle during the rental period.
All our motorcycles are fully insured, with a deductible of 1000-1500 euros, which is also the amount of the deposit, depending on the type of motorcycle chosen. The fully comprehensive insurance only applies if the motorcycle is used correctly and if the motorcycle is treated as if it were a good family man.
The deposit will be refunded if the motorcycle is in the same condition as when it was handed over at the start of the rental period, except for normal wear and tear.
Abuse or disrespectful use of the motorcycle, abnormal wear and tear of the tires, etc. are also considered damage.
The fully comprehensive insurance only applies if the correct action is taken in the event of an accident. This means that the police are called in the event of an accident, the lessor is immediately informed and the renter did not cause the damage intentionally.
What if I get a flat tire?
You are responsible for the motorcycle during the rental period, including any damage to the tires. If you drive a nail into the tire, you will be charged for this tire. However, the already driven profile of the tire is taken into account. This means that if the tire was halfway when the incident occurred, you only pay for half a tire. We do not "tap" for safety reasons.
The loss of the rental period due to not being able to drive due to a flat tire is at the expense of the renter.
What if I drive damage, but can continue my journey and no one else is involved?
Then you inform us immediately so that we can do everything we can to repair the motorcycle when it is returned. In this way, the motorcycle can be rented out again without damage to the next renter. If it is technically not safe to continue driving, you must call us and we will come and pick you up.
Do I have to pay a deposit when booking?
Yes. We ask for a 50% deposit when booking. The remaining amount and deposit must be paid before the rental period starts.
The deposit and/or remaining amount as well as the deposit can be paid by bank transfer or in cash on site.
If you cancel up to 2 weeks before the start of the rental period, you will receive 50% of your deposit back.
Can I travel to the mainland with my motorcycle?
No, you are only allowed to travel between the 7 islands.
If you plan to visit an island other than Tenerife during your trip, you must inform the rental company of this.
Please note that when traveling to islands other than Tenerife and you have an accident or breakdown there, you will be charged for the travel costs for towing the motorcycle, this extra cost is also not covered by the all-risk insurance.
Is a lock included?
Yes, a disc brake lock and possibly, if desired, a chain lock are included.
What should I do in the event of an accident?
If you have an accident with third parties, always call the police on 112 and also inform us.
If no other road users are involved and there is no damage to third parties, but you cannot continue your trip,
also call us, then we will come to your aid.
What about fines by the law?
If you are pulled off the road for a (speeding) fine, you must pay it immediately.
If we receive a fine after the rental period, we will inform you and ask you to transfer the amount to us,
we will then make the payment to the police.
If you refuse, we will inform the police who the driver was at the time of the incident and they will contact you and collect the fine directly from you.
Please note that the amount will then be higher than if we are paid directly.
Is someone other than the renter allowed to drive the motorcycle?
No, the motorcycle may only be driven by the renter.
El Porís
Our favourite quiet seaside resort nearby. Have a drink or a bite at the local "70's Bar" or "Café al Mar" overlooking the beach of El Porís. ALWAYS a pleasure!
Vilaflor, met restaurant-Bar en toffe uitbater "Senior Tito"
Vilaflor is the highest village in Spain at 1400m above sea level. 2 chances out of 3 that when you drive to the Teide, you will drive through it. Always an opportunity to stop at the extremely friendly "Senior Tito" for "a teusje" and "a nibble", or a delicious lunch.
Airport South
For most of us, the airport we fly from to Tenerife.
Costa del Silencio, met restaurant en aparthotel 'Westhaven Bay'
Costa del Silencio is the cradle of (West) Flemish tourism in Tenerife. TenBel in particular.
You will also find the extremely cozy holiday complex "aparthotel and restaurant Westhaven Bay" there. If you want to be served in Dutch on holiday, and you can't miss the classic kitchen from home, then this is the spot for you!
Los Cristianos
Los Cristianos is a very touristic resort, but for us much more important: the port to our neighboring island "La Gomera".
Las Americas
If you want to really let loose, and I mean especially in terms of nightlife, then you will definitely find it here. Also a very touristic seaside resort during the day.
Los Gigantes
Los Gigantes is also definitely recommended as a stop. You can admire the gigantic rock formations that rise from the sea, eat a delicious fish in the harbor or for the enthusiasts, it is very beautiful diving!
Punta de Teno
A beautiful place with an even more beautiful lighthouse, very popular with photographers who take the best pictures there. Attention, very limited access, informing in advance is recommended!
Buenavista del Norte
This is on your route when you come to or from Masca, always nice to drive through or take a walk through the center. There are cozy bars and restaurants with the typical Canarian kitchen. The Canarian architectural style is also strongly present here and is lovingly maintained.
El Teide
You can't miss it! I drive past it almost every week, and I still admire this gigantic volcano. At 3718 meters, it is the highest point in Spain. You can visit the top after a ride in the cable car and a serious hike to the top. Reservations are required.
Icod de los Vinos
Cozy small typical Canarian town where it is nice to walk. You can also visit a lot, such as "Museo de Malvasía", Casa del Plátano" and much more!
Puerto de la Cruz
Puerto de la Cruz has a valuable and well-kept old town with more than 140 protected buildings, a beauty for the eye. It is a real pleasure to hang around here for a day or to cool off in the "piscinas naturales". The very first hotel on Tenerife is said to have been built in this town.
Anaga
Anaga Nature Park is a "must drive trough". The nature here is fantastic, with views over many valleys and sharp mountain peaks. Also recommended for beautiful walks through the beautiful laurel forest.
Airport North
Tenerife's Northern Airport. This was the first of the two airports. This one flies mainly to Spain.
La Laguna
With full name 'San Cristobal de La Laguna' is the former capital of Tenerife.
This city was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1999. I don't need to tell you more, do I?
Santa Cruz de Tenerife
This is the capital of our beautiful island. A fun and trendy city that can also charm many city trippers. A recommendation to take in the many sights. Definitely visit the African Market 'La Recova'.
Guímar
A local town with industrial area and own bathing place, which you should definitely visit. You will most likely drive through here when enjoying our winding roads.
Restaurante 'Papillon'
A well-known stop for local bikers who appreciate the local cuisine. You will pass it again two chances out of three when you drive over the Teide.
